Club night by Utrecht collective with Irish roots dedicated to connection and expression

Ó'FADA originated from a friendship in Utrecht, driven by a shared passion for dance music and the desire to create places that feel truly alive. As meaningful meeting places for young people became increasingly rare, the collective decided to organize evenings centered on connection, expression, and community.

What started as DIY house parties evolved into transforming bare spaces through sound, light, and movement – personally supplying turntables, speakers, lighting systems, and custom-made dance stages.

With three members hailing from Ireland, Ó'FADA positions itself between two scenes, supporting both Irish and Dutch artists and building a bridge between the talent and energy emanating from both cultures.

At its core, Ó'FADA is focused on the dance floor and prioritizes the creative freedom of the DJs, while simultaneously creating an open, playful, and safe atmosphere. Parties that don't take themselves too seriously, but are deeply rooted in collective fun, freedom of expression, and experiencing music together.

In addition to Ó'FADA, resident DJ Daniel Ivashchenko and DJ Hushpuppy will also be spinning a mix of old-school and progressive house at EKKO on July 4, together with Utrecht-based DJ Liv , who will present an energetic mix of ghetto house and breaks.

The headliner of the evening is Puzzy Wrangler — two girls, two turntables, one beautiful relationship — known for their infectious musical chemistry and playful, percussive selections that move between house, garage, and queer club music.
