The Irish singer-songwriter A.S. Fanning (operating from Berlin since 2011) excels in folk-noir, baroque pop and indie rock with dark lyrics, delivered with a deep voice in which both Scott Walker and Leonard Cohen can be heard. In 2023 Fanning released the third album of his Berlin period: Mushroom Cloud, a record that took him to our Club Nine in 2024. Tonight he returns to this intimate venue with his next (yet to be released) album, Take Me Back To Nowhere.
