PLAYFUL MIX OF CHIPTUNE, GAME SOUNDTRACKS AND INDIE

The New York band Anamanaguchi draws inspiration from chiptune and Nintendo soundtracks and moves effortlessly between game culture and pop. They created the soundtrack for the video game of the cult film Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and scored a worldwide hit with 'Miku' together with digital pop star Hatsune Miku.

With their latest album 'Anyway', they take a new direction, trading their signature electronic sound for a more alternative indie and rock approach. Yet their music remains rooted in experimentation and innovation, occupying a unique position between digital culture and live music for years.
