This tribute band performs in LA FÊTE D’ARNO a selection spanning from the early days of T.C. Matic to Arno’s final solo album. ARNO PUTAIN! … a tribute to Arno and T.C. Matic! This tribute band performs in LA FÊTE D’ARNO a selection spanning from the early days of T.C. Matic to Arno’s final solo album. In short, a ‘best of’ and most importantly, a heartfelt tribute to Arno and his rich musical legacy. A passionate Belgian band featuring Jan De Ruyter (vocals), Dave Wyns (guitar), Marcus Weymaere (drums), Carlo Van Belleghem (bass), and Jan Samyn (piano). Arno Hintjens (1949–2022) was a true icon of Belgian rock. He began his musical journey with Paul Decoutere as Tjens Couter, but his breakthrough came with the formation of T.C. Matic (without Paul). Arno, along with bandmates like Jean-Marie Aerts and Serge Feys, conquered major festival stages and clubs around the world. This era produced a stream of iconic hits including: O La La La, Putain Putain, Que Pasa, Le Java, Les Filles du Bord de Mer, Les Yeux de ma Mère, and many more. Arno continued as a solo artist, singing in both English and French, and also explored side projects such as Charles et Les Lulus and Charles and the White Blues Connection – always finding new ways to captivate his many fans.
