Astronaut is the Dutch-language project of the idiosyncratic singer-songwriter Pelle Bast and his six-member band, suitable for fans of Lucky Fonz III, Spinvis and Roosbeef. On the wings of the debut album Eeuwig Voor Een Tijdje (2024) Astronaut reached Into The Great Wide Open that same year, although connoisseurs had already noticed him in 2019 with the single Jij Zou Beginnen Met De Seks Vandaag. The second album De Lucht (2025) has just been released, but the songs keep coming — on the way to the third record Astronaut is slowly working his way up to become your new favourite underdog!
