Audiovoorstelling by theater group YoungGangsters where Tuindorpers talk about the changes in the village. For a long time, Tuindorp Oostzaan was more than 5 kilometers from the city of Amsterdam. The residents formed a close-knit community, and the Zonneplein was the shining center where residents met. Now the village has become part of the city and the Zonneplein stands empty. On April 13 at 19:30 in the Zonnehuis, theater group YoungGangsters organizes an audio performance where residents from Tuindorp talk about the changes in the village. Jordan van Beijnhem has been playing saxophone in the Harmonie for years and Romanee Rodriguez makes radio documentaries. Together with the voices of many Tuindorpers, they tell what the community spirit of the village was and investigate how we can breathe new life into the Zonneplein together.
