The American alternative rock band Balance And Composure is often called an emo band, but their style is broader: post-hardcore and melodic indie and shoegaze influences are also audible. The band debuted with the rather intense album Separation (2011), successors The Things We Think We're Missing and Light We Made were somewhat more atmospheric. After a five-year hiatus, Balance And Composure returned strongly in 2024 with their fourth album With You In Spirit, an album where the gentlemen have found the perfect balance in their band sound - perhaps their best album to date!
