Since the release of his globally acclaimed debut album, "Every Kingdom," Ben Howard has zigzagged his way across the musical spectrum. Armed with an acoustic guitar and a virtuoso playing to match, the Englishman has been crafting a versatile oeuvre for over fifteen years. Howard rarely shies away from experimentation. Synthesizers are invoked just as readily as classical instruments. This is clearly evident on his most recent album, "Is It?", released three years ago.
