BIG|BRAVE

Minimalist metal from Montreal, imbued with tension between beauty and menace. The Canadian trio BIG|BRAVE is known for their uncompromising approach to heavy, minimalist metal. With modified instruments they create a hushed, almost cinematic sound world in which improvisation and texture are central. In 2025 the band played Roadburn and Le Guess Who?; this year BIG|BRAVE comes to EKKO in the context of the new album 'OST', which will be released in spring 2026. The album is written as a soundtrack for an imaginary film and is imbued with tension between beautiful passages and menace. BIG|BRAVE thus again proves how powerful sobriety can be, both on record and in their immersive live shows.
