Cat Clyde is a singer-songwriter from rural Ontario, Canada. A combination of driving, soulful blues and sweet, folky, and mellow tones, with a distinct familiarity, forms the fabric upon which she creates her unique sound. With influences ranging from Patsy Cline and Lead Belly to Karen Dalton and Bobbie Gentry, this patchwork of musical meaning, combined with her modern approach, fits like a perfectly matched corduroy road fabric. Cat is currently finishing her next album, which will be released on Concord Records. So far, one track has been released: "Wild One."
