On Thursday, May 28th, The Hague-based Latin band CHACHACHALINA will present their new album, "Mujeres Fuertes," at PAARD. Join us tonight on a journey to tropical climes, where irresistible rhythms embrace you. Powerhouse Chalina Smit sings and plays powerful conga drum grooves, leading the band in a sparkling mix of Latin fusion, Latin jazz, and salsa, exploding into an explosive sound.

The evening will conclude with a special afterparty by DJ Chimbin (Gerardo Rosales), perfect for anyone who wants to keep dancing to salsa dura, mambo, cha-cha-cha, merengue, and timba! A night full of Latin power, top-notch live music, and a guaranteed summer vibe.

CHACHACHALINA has previously performed at Zwarte Cross, Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, Dias Latinos, Amersfoort World Jazz, Zomerparkfeest, Jazz in de Gracht, Zwarte Ruijter during King's Day, and Sfinks Festival (BE), and has built a loyal following in The Hague in recent years. Following the EP 'Mira antes de saltar' (2021) and debut album 'El Reflejo' (2023), 'Mujeres Fuertes' is their most personal and energetic work to date.
