CITRUS BLOSSOM + YAN LÂLE

A great double bill featuring two bands that blend Western rock music with Eastern influences. Enter Citrus Blossom and Yan Lale.

The Utrecht-based band Citrus Blossom, with its roots in Greece, presented its new album at dB's last December and has since added a string of performances to its list of achievements. This quintet blends jazz, rock, and traditional Eastern music into a swinging ensemble with plenty of room for improvisation and a social message. Their Eastern vocals are accompanied by a rock sound complemented by violin and saxophone accents. East meets West. Melancholy and frenzy hand in hand.

The second band on this bill is YAN LÂLE, another rapidly rising band, not least thanks to their impressive live shows, including at Popronde 2024 and ESNS 2025. While Citrus Blossom is rooted in Greece, YAN LÂLE's music is characterized by Anatolian influences. Psychedelic vocals and guitars intersect with Black Sabbath, Radiohead, and Mogollar. The band's absolute highlight is vocalist Tugce Kartal, a singer with a voice unlike any other. A band to experience.
