A new Club EKKO , lovingly selected by us for your (and our) dancing pleasure. This time, as part of EKKO's fortieth anniversary, featuring Spinvis and tala drum corps , who have a musical evening full of surprises in store.

We know Spinvis primarily for his work as a singer, writer, and composer, but at Club EKKO, he'll be heard in a completely different way: from behind the decks. After DJ sets at Best Kept Secret and Nomono, he'll take you on a two-hour journey down musical paths and through personal favorites, especially for EKKO's fortieth anniversary . Spinvis hasn't DJed often throughout his career, yet he's known for his surprising and eclectic style of DJing.

Over the years, Spinvis and EKKO crossed paths several times. In 2005, he kicked off his Lotus Europe tour during the Evening of Goosebumps, and a year later, he wowed audiences with a joint performance with poet Simon Vinkenoog. In 2008, Spinvis shared the stage at the Bemuurde Weerd with saxophonist Eric Vloeimans, and four years later, EKKO presented two intimate concerts by Spinvis at the Metaal Kathedraal.

Tala Drum Corps is delving into its musical archives especially for this special edition of Club EKKO. Playing double duty, they'll showcase their versatile taste and eclectic selections, from the first note of the evening to the last. Expect an evening where the unexpected takes center stage.
