Choosing an artist name doesn't always have to take months: CMAT is the abbreviation of Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson. This young Irish singer/musician makes a well-sung mix of pop and country with fine tongue-in-cheek lyrics – her catchy new single 'The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station' is currently continuously heard on the alternative radio stations. The song comes from her third album EURO-COUNTRY, which was released on 29 August and according to CMAT herself is the best she has ever made. Now let's hope that our Ronda is big enough for this larger-than-life personality!
