On Saturday, August 15th, Complexity Fest returns to Patronaat for the tenth time! For ten years, we've been bringing together adventurous sounds and groundbreaking heavy music: from all sorts of experimental metal combinations to loud electronic music and post-/jazz/indie/math-inspired rock madness, and everything in between. Complexity Fest offers a platform for artists who think outside the box.
With the first names of Complexity Fest 2026, we're pulling out all the stops: from the physical precision of snare drum soloist Ryosuke Kiyasu in an alternative location in the building, to the rhythmic whirlwind of ZETA from Venezuela, who intertwine prog and post-hardcore.
Italy's ZU brings over twenty-five years of underground experience to the table and returns with new material that further refines their heavy, idiosyncratic sound. Violent Magic Orchestra celebrates ten years of Complexity with the next phase of their rave-meets-black-metal universe, armed with new material and an audiovisual approach that will transform any venue.
And then there's Hollow Jan , debuting in the Netherlands: Korean screamo with long suspense arcs, raw outbursts, and a cult following that extends far beyond the country's borders. Five acts, five distinct worlds, one festival that brings it all together.
