Join us for a special Cumbia event bringing together two diasporic Latin American collectives based in the Amsterdam. Cumbia Libre and Carmela Collective unite to present an evening of cumbia and (electronic) Latin sounds.

Conjunto Media Luna, one of the most prominent figures in contemporary Cumbia today. While on tour in Europe,Iván Medellín the musician and producer from Medillín, Colombia is making a stop at Toekomstmuziek, bringing his distinctive accordion-driven sounds from Montes de María, but with a modern twist that reimagines traditional melodies through synths, samplers, and drum machines.

Throughout the night, five local DJ acts from the Latin diaspora will surround the concert, making you dance.
