Current Joys is the solo project of Nick Rattigan, who is also known as the drummer and vocalist of the indie band Surf Curse. The American creator writes, plays, and directs his own work. In May, he released his seventh album, 'Voyager', on which his vulnerable lyrics combine with a dreamy lo-fi indie sound.

The album 'East My Love' also appeared under the same name, released via Secretly Canadian. Rattigan wrote the songs in isolation in the forests of Tennessee. The material had originated earlier but remained unreleased for a long time because it felt too direct. Only later did he decide to release these songs, which he himself describes as mentally charged.
