Dear Omen is a three-piece, heavy-hearted gothic rock band based in Amsterdam. Solid bass lines and pounding drum rhythms mixed with terrifying organs, combined with an extravagant live show, ensured that Dear Omen was one of 3voor12's favorites during the Popronde in 2025. With a touch of determination and romance, the shows deliver an explosive and dark sound.

Since 2020, the band has been working on their second EP, 'Dystopian Lament', which marks a new phase. A changed lineup, frequent touring, and closer relationships form the foundation, as do the experiences that have imposed themselves over the past few years. The music originates from the body and emotion and explores contradictions such as anger and desire, chaos and tenderness, connection and alienation.
