Death Sells makes dark, idiosyncratic punk that grinds, surprises, and sticks. With a sound that balances grunge, dissonance, and raw energy, the band manages to unleash an intense feeling you didn't even know was there. The songs are compact and direct, yet carry a charge that extends beyond the initial impact: personal, sensitive lyrics are wrapped in an explosive and sometimes alienating soundscape. Live, this translates into energetic and disruptive shows that not only take the audience along but pull them right into the middle of it; sweating is guaranteed, though the question remains of what exactly.
In recent years, Death Sells has rapidly built a strong live reputation with shows throughout the Netherlands, an intensive Popronde tour, and performances at festivals such as Cherry Bomb, These Go To Eleven, Come As You Are, and Here's the Thing. Previous support shows with acts including Knives, Ronker, and The Linda Lindas underscore their place within the new generation of alternative acts. Following a debut EP in 2024 and the single 'Corner' on Girls To The Front, 2026 will be dedicated to their first album, with a release show at the Effenaar and a subsequent tour through the Netherlands.
