Elias Rønnenfelt is the frontman of the Danish post-punk band Iceage, but solo he sounds rawer, more personal, and surprisingly vulnerable. Following last year's debut, "Heavy Glory," the follow-up, "Speak Daggers," is coming soon. Recorded between tours, it features contributions from The Congos, Erika de Casier, and Fine. The album is as versatile as it is direct, blending honest confessions with musical courage. Following collaborations with Dean Blunt, Jonatan Leandoer96, and Fousheé, among others, Rønnenfelt confirms his knack for reinventing himself.
