The 25-year-old American singer Emma Nissen is rapidly developing into a striking new voice within the jazz and pop world. She broke through in late 2023 when a video in which she scatted her Christian song Breathe went viral. Her distinctive mix of jazz and gospel (which she calls “Jesus and Jazz”) earned her millions of views worldwide and a fast-growing fanbase.

Big names like SZA, Meghan Trainor, and Queen Latifah express their appreciation, while Emmy and Grammy winner Adam Blackstone invites her to perform at the legendary New York jazz club The Blue Note.
