Exhibition title: Elegy of Mother Earth

My name is Petra Fenijn and I graduated in 1991 from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam in painting, drawing and graphics.

Since then I have been active intermittently as an artist in various techniques and also as a writer of poetry.

My work is primarily an attempt to discover my own voice, to make it heard, to make it visible, and also to pay tribute to everything that is made invisible and crushed under the interests of the stronger and better equipped in this human world.
