LIBERAL UTRECHT INDONESIA POETS CELEBRATE 10TH ANNIVERSARY
Figgie is an idiosyncratic collective from Utrecht that has been bringing together playful indie rock and poetic stories in colorful songs about everyday life since 2016. With sunny guitar lines, candid lyrics, and influences from The War on Drugs, Eefje de Visser, and Radiohead, the band creates rich, narrative music and energetic live shows. With a new lineup and new music, Figgie celebrates their tenth anniversary with a show at EKKO.

Founded in Utrecht in 2020, the band started as a creative experiment by four friends and grew into a full formation with its own sound that they call 'DIY punk': raw, colorful, and with a wink. Expect quirky melodies, humorous lyrics, and sharp reflections on the world.
