Froukje is one of the most striking voices in Dutch and Belgian pop music. She broke through with her debut album 'Noodzakelijk Verdriet', which debuted at number 1 in both countries and became the most streamed album in the Netherlands in 2024. Her music, characterized by personal lyrics and a fresh, confident sound, has been streamed more than 240 million times since 2020. Her best-known songs include 'Groter Dan Ik' and 'Ik Wil Dansen'. In 2026, Froukje will release her second album, 'Kijk Je Naar Mij?', which appears on October 2nd, and from which 'Jaar Na Jaar' is already available to listen. This album, which she wrote entirely herself and largely produced herself, marks a new phase in her career, in which she turns her gaze outwards: towards the world, love, and her own life as an artist.
