Gewalt
Founded in 2015 in Berlin, GEWALT operates within the genres of industrial, post-punk, and new wave, often described as German Wut Wave. The band focuses on the inevitability and impossibility of human existence. Live, GEWALT is known for an intense, physical experience, with the motto: "We come to make you dance and to blow your mind." The band has played around 200 shows throughout Europe and recently in the United States. They have shared stages with Jack White, Friends of Gas, Plattenbau, PDOA, White Hills, and the Martin Bisi Collective, among others, and have appeared at festivals such as ESNS 2023, SXSW 2023, Spacefest, Immergut, Derby, Haldern Pop, and Fusion.
Minor Crime
Minor Crime is the solo project of New Zealand producer David Tomlinson. His live show is a hallucinogenic mix of darkwave, synth-punk, and neo-psych, recklessly fused with an arsenal of synths, samples, and sequencers. Since 2014, David has been based in Amsterdam, where he writes and records in an attic space, trying not to think too much about what it all means anymore. After a series of EPs and singles, Minor Crime's debut album, Inhumane Bandwidth, will be released in April via the Haarlem label Geertruida. Probably.
