Stockholm-based Girl Scout broke onto the Swedish scene in 2022 without releasing a single song, only with festival appearances. Since then, they've gone on to do worldwide tours, support for Alvvays and Holly Humberstone, and a sold-out headline tour in the UK.
With their long-awaited debut album, "Brink," Girl Scout now faces the apocalypse. More than a collection of songs, the album is a response to a time when angst and wistful escapism collide. The band expands their signature indie rock sound into something bolder and more uninhibited. According to guitarist and vocalist Emma Jansson, it's "self-medication against the world."
