Good Guy Hank — Polished roots at the intersection of bluegrass and country. In 2023 they were still seen with us at Ramblin Roots: the Americana trio Good Guy Hank, not coincidentally named after the legendary country star Hank Williams. The band is a surprising collaboration of musicians from Scotland and Australia: singer/guitarist Donny McElligott of the Scottish Americana band The New Madrids, violinist Pepi Emmerichs of the Australian indie pop band Oh Pep! and bassist Theo Barnard of the Scottish bluegrass band Wire & Wool. As Good Guy Hank they make polished roots at the intersection of bluegrass and country, with beautiful three-part harmonies!
