Gowtu celebrates 8 years. What once started in the small hall of the Melkweg has grown into one of the best-known events where Surinamese music and influences are central. 8 years of pushing the Surinamese sound. 8 years of creating a stage. 8 years of bringing the community and our artists together. We are proud of our contribution to making the Surinamese sound and its artists visible. Our mission is succeeding. To celebrate this milestone, we are organizing a one night only special in Bitterzoet Amsterdam. An evening where we will do something that has never been done before in the Bitter. With La Rouge live and the crème de la crème of the Surinamese scene, this promises to be a special evening.
