The English singer-songwriter Gregory Page (known from performances on Vrije Geluiden and Kunststof TV) is a musician with an old soul: already as a child he played his grandfather's 78 rpm records. Page’s nostalgia-evoking songs lean on folk from Ireland (his mother's country), jazz, americana and ragtime (so-called 'americeltic'). Besides being a musician, Page is also a poet and entertainer — a performance by him is partly music, partly cabaret.
