HE:LEEN PLAY is a monthly musical collaboration with De Helling venue and takes place at LE:EN, THE DRAIN PLAY.

Honey Camp
Honey Camp creates slightly melancholic indie songs with atmospheric harmonies and folky instrumentation. Somewhere between alt-country/Americana and 90s indie rock, but with an accordion. Or simply: indie folk from Utrecht, inspired by The Frames, Arcade Fire, Elliott Smith, and a few other favorites.

In March 2025, their debut album, "No One Leaves Without Saying Goodbye," was released, its songs rich with layers of electronics and string arrangements. This was followed by a year of shows throughout the Netherlands, including performances as part of the Popronde festival. During these numerous live shows, the band returned to its roots: four musicians, what you see is what you get. That live feel is also evident in the new songs, which were recorded in early 2026 and will be presented live on February 22nd at HE:LEEN PLAY.

Mirran:
Atmospheric compositions, layered vocals, and personal lyrics. Mirran means it, and you feel it live as you're drawn into his dreamy indie folk. He's previously performed at TivoliVredenburg and Bibelot, received extensive airplay on Pinguin Radio, and received rave reviews from 3voor12 Utrecht. His debut album, "Blue In Blue," was released in early July and marks the next step in this musical adventure.
