Rock'n'roll, Pop

On January 11, 2025, Drukwerk from Amsterdam and Heinoos from the eastern Netherlands merged at Paradiso, sharing the stage as one. During a nearly three-hour show—where "Marianneke" became a "Dear Darling" and "Schijn 'n Lichtje Op Mij" had the sold-out crowd "Høken in de tent"—the city embraced the countryside and vice versa. The evening will go down as one to remember forever. A good reason for both bands and Paradiso to do it all over again.

Heinoos
Since the millennium year 2000, the guys from Heinoos have been thundering like a diesel locomotive through village fairs, halls, and festivals all over the Netherlands. This band guarantees a healthy dose of rock 'n' roll, a hoarse voice, bouncing crowds, and a terrifying bar turnover. Besides the raw "Høken in de tent," they also managed to strike a chord during their many theater shows in recent years.

Drukwerk
The Amsterdam Dutch pop band Drukwerk was founded in 1978 by singer Harry Slinger, recognizable by his red cap and Amsterdam bravado, and musicians Ton Coster, Joop May, and Hans Witteveen. Drukwerk rose to prominence in the late 1970s with protest songs against, for example, the closure of youth clubs in Amsterdam-Noord, the housing shortage, and other abuses. In 1981, the band released their LP, featuring the golden single "Je Loog Tegen Mij," which reached number one in the Dutch Top 40. Today, the band continues to enthusiastically perform explosive shows throughout the Netherlands, where you shouldn't be surprised if you suddenly bump into fans from three different generations.
