American metal band High On Fire has been crafting a crushing mix of sludge, thrash, and stoner for 28 years without slowing down. Frontman Matt Pike is a hard worker: besides High On Fire, he also plays in the doom metal band Sleep. Pike's raw voice is sometimes reminiscent of Lemmy – it's no wonder High On Fire covered Motörhead's Iron Fist for a tribute album in 2022.
