She always plays with infectious virtuosity. At seventeen, she was already on stage with Chick Corea. She has since won a Grammy and performed for a global audience at the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics. With her recent albums Sonicwonderland and Out There, she proves she has fully found her own sound. Together with the Metropole Orkest under the direction of Miho Hazama, Hiromi combines piano, synthesizers, and orchestral soundscapes into a cinematic experience where jazz and symphonic power enhance each other.
