Irrational Library:

The Irrational Library is a Haarlem-based rock band with roots in regional and international counterculture. This Dutch-American band produces a raw, dirty groove influenced by icons of beat, provo, and punk culture.

The band's rhythm section provides a thundering foundation for the poetry Joshua Baumgarten lays over it, a la Gil Scott Heron's "The Minutemen." Add to that the tight melodies and psychedelic improvisations of a baritone sax, and you have The Irrational Library!

They will definitely be playing some work from their upcoming album, The Saying of it All , during this show .

Dead Anyway (UK):

We welcome them back with open arms: Dead Anyway! DA sounds like EBM for people who come alive when darkness falls, far from the suffocating daily grind and the destructive nature of the world as we experience it again.

Kate Arnold's spoken word unfolds on sonic waves of eerie synth sounds, calming your confused mind and transporting you to a fantasy world.

This show also marks the release of their new album Squeak Piggy Squeak .

Think of Massive Attack, Tricky, Arab Strap and The Streets by Mike Skinner.
