As an artist Joan Shelley is always connected to a place; whether that is Chicago, Iceland, Kentucky or Toronto. Now her quest also brings her to the Netherlands. The American folk and singer-songwriter, known for her poetic voice, gentle melodies and lyrics that breathe intimacy and lyricism, is internationally praised as one of the most remarkable voices of her generation.
