Kitty Craft is Pamela Valfer. She debuted in 1994 with an initially low-tech sound. In 1997, she expanded this sound with keyboards and a sampler on the 7-inch EP 'I Got Rulez', which led to the release of 'Beats & Breaks From The Flower Patch' in 1998. In 2000, her second full album, 'Catskills', followed. After that, Valfer put down the microphone and put Kitty Craft into hibernation. In 2019, she awoke from her hibernation and released the albums on all streaming platforms without much announcement. In a kind of pandemic zeitgeist, along with a revival of the 1990s shoegaze wave, and the popularity of vinyl records, Kitty Craft is embraced by a new generation of listeners in 2026.
