On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, two bands will present their brand new EPs at De Nieuwe Anita: Karel & The Rock Humans (KRH) and De Huiskamerband. The presentation is in the hands of Martijn Reijerkerk. An evening not to be missed!
Karel & The Rock Humans (KRH)
Brothers Maarten and Pieter, also known as The Rock Humans, make dynamic indie folk music. They play their own compositions in the special combination of guitar/vocals and accordion. Their music is a tribute to Karel the cat, who ignited the fire of musicality in them.
De Huiskamerband
In a world that is becoming increasingly individualistic, Omar, Roghan, and Pieter want to continue seeking connection. Everyone deserves to feel seen and loved, regardless of age, health, or social situation. The connecting power of music can help with that.
