KRYSTL | ALBUMRELEASE
Krystl presents an intimate try-out of her new Dutch-language album, which will be released two days earlier, on March 20. During this afternoon she plays the entire album live for the first time, together with multi-instrumentalist Kobus Groen.
Sunday 22 Mar. 2026 - 16:00 - € 21,00
Krystl broke through in 2010 with her debut hit Golden Days and thereby made a flying start in Dutch pop music. Her work was awarded, among others, an Edison Award for Best Newcomer, a 3FM Award and a Buma Award. In the years that followed she released several successful English-language singles, including Bottles, Fool For You and Circles and developed into a beloved live artist.
Since 2018 Krystl has also been part of the female country/pop trio The BlueBirds, with which she released two albums and toured theaters and festivals across the country.
Three years ago Krystl came into contact with the handpan. The instrument unexpectedly brought about a shift in her life. She started giving lying concerts/sound journeys and she began writing in Dutch. Her first single Wandel naar Mezelf, written in collaboration with Maaike Ouboter, is the first result of that movement.
During this try-out Krystl plays her new Dutch-language album together with Kobus Groen and gives a preview of her next project. In this intimate lineup of voice, handpan, guitar, piano and harmonium the songs and their stories are central.
