During the Kunstbende Young Creators Festival, the Melkweg is taken over by the new generation of creators. Here you can see young talents aged 13 to 19 from all over the country showcasing their work.

These participants won the preliminary rounds in their provinces in March and April and are now in the national final. In total, there are about 90 acts to see, ranging from dance and music to theater, film, exhibitions, and language. Acts follow each other in rapid succession, accompanied by a fringe program full of performances and new discoveries. Winners get the chance to showcase their work on nationally renowned stages, from Oerol to the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.

Previous participants went on to major stages and careers — from DJ Martin Garrix to top choreographer Shay Latukolan.
