La bande-son imaginaire is a darkwave and dance-electronic project from Oaxaca, Mexico. They are known for combining elements from Mexican indigenous cultures, French poetry, theater, and film in their music. Additionally, they blend the sound of the violin with their electronic rhythms and deliver powerful live performances. They are currently considered the leading darkwave band in their country.
