La Pegatina calls vibrant Barcelona its home base. The band members once started out on the streets there, but now they fill the biggest venues across Spain, raising the temperature to the ultimate boiling point. Their music is a blend of genres they heard around them in the city: rumba catalana, ska, punk, cumbia, and música mestiza. Their goal is to get everyone moving, within three seconds, with a smile from ear to ear.

After 20 years and over 1,200 concerts, they slowed down in 2025 and took a year off. They'll pick up the thread again with renewed enthusiasm in 2026. A new album will be released in the spring, and the band will then embark on a world tour with renewed vigor, naturally including Amsterdam. " Fiesta therapy, amigo!"
