Lauren Ruth Ward — The American singer Lauren Ruth Ward creates a wholly original mix of indie rock and americana, topped with a portion of seventies-glam. That critics compare her to varied artists such as Janis Joplin, Florence Welch and Courtney Barnett only confirms Ward's versatility (and her powerful voice). On 10 October her new EP Medicine (the first two tracks are already out) will be released, on which she again examines the complete human condition in her lyrics. Ward plays tonight an intimate show in our Club Nine together with one of her regular band members! There are only standing places at this concert.
