Le Guess Who? is considered one of the most progressive festivals in the world, celebrated for the inspiring way in which groundbreaking music is presented. Artists from all over the world offer new perspectives on what is possible within music.
From November 5–8, Le Guess Who? celebrates its 20th anniversary edition in Utrecht. For four days, the festival takes over the city with performances in pop venues, theaters, churches, and clubs. On Friday and Saturday, the festival also lands at EKKO.
On Saturday, November 7, the program includes, among others, 24 HOUR DUB , a special 24-hour program with non-stop dub sounds; guitarist and composer Bill Orcutt , whose work is rooted in blues, Americana, and psychedelic rock; the duo BBBBBBB , who call their own music “Victory Hardcore”—a mix of digital hardcore, noise, industrial, and trap; the duo Los Thutanaka , who bridge the past, present, and future of the influential Pakajaqui Nation—an Indigenous people from the Andes; the collective weed420 , who connect chopped 'n' screwed trap with deep-rooted Latin American influences using guitars, synthesizers, and processed vocals; Ustad Hassan Haider Khan , one of the most prominent Shehnai players—a traditional South Asian wind instrument; and Los Delfines del Amor , who combine Andean traditions with modern elements and create a festive atmosphere. drummer and producer Karriem Riggins and singer-songwriter, rapper, and producer Liv.e presenting their new project GENA ; cellist and singer-songwriter Kelsey Lu , returning to the festival with the new album 'So Help Me God'; bassist and percussionist Raúl Monsalve , who, together with the band Los Forajidos, combines the deep roots of African and Indigenous Venezuelan traditions with progressive influences; and much more.
