Lisandro Aristimuño is a musician, composer, and producer from Argentina. Born and raised in Patagonia, he is considered “the most original, versatile, and intense artist of the past decade.” He is coming to Amsterdam for an intimate performance at Bitterzoet.

He is one of the young pioneers of independent work, having
released ten albums on his own label “Viento Azul.” He has
won the 'Premios Gardel' a total of seven times, was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award for his album “Mundo Anfibio,” and was recognized by Konex as one of the five most important figures in Argentine popular music.

In his work, Aristimuño displays elements of Argentine folklore, rock, pop, and electronic music. By combining bombos, acoustic instruments, electronic sounds, brass, and string arrangements, he creates the world of his own mind.
Moreover, his poetry always manages to convey his strong desire for freedom, growth, and joie de vivre—without losing a touch of melancholy, a characteristic of every inhabitant of Patagonia.

This will be an intimate concert featuring specially selected songs from his extensive repertoire.

“Since his debut in 2004, he has grown from an unknown
Argentine singer to a newcomer in the generation of famous
singers, a renowned producer and composer.” (Rolling Stone)
