Make Noise Love More berthaju + vera & the sleepover club Indie Rock Pop 13 February Make Noise Love More: Valentine’s Special on 13 February 2026 is an upcoming showcase of independent artists where you can dance your heart out with your friends, or take a date for a funny first night out. To celebrate a diverse line-up of emerging indie artists who are passionate about making things happen, this first edition highlights female-gaze indie rock, contributed by BERTHAJU (part of Popronde 2025) who celebrate their new deluxe version ‘VIP Tickets To The Cinema EP’ and Vera and the Sleepover Club, plus a third act that will be announced. This event space is here to make new friends, connect, start conversations, be inspired by new ideas and to dance, sing and scream along. BERTHAJU BERTHAJU is a female-gaze indie rock band from Rotterdam known for energetic live shows with choreographies and sharp, headstrong songs about themes such as divorces of older white men and letting go of what others think. In 2025 BERTHAJU released their second fully self-written and produced EP “Tickets To The Cinema” on 24 October, in which they go even deeper into their indie rock period and place female energy and independence at the center. Besides the digital release the band also makes their vinyl debut with this EP, which is available at shows and online. After a tour through the United Kingdom at the beginning of the year BERTHAJU is part of Popronde 2025 and plays their intensive live performances on more than twenty stages in the Netherlands, followed by a first tour through Germany starting in March 2026. Vera & The Sleepover Club Vera & The Sleepover Club is a band that combines indierock, garage and pop into fresh, playful and sincere music, with catchy indie songs about messing about in life, love and the wonder about everything they do not understand. With their debut EP the band won the Prize for Best Newcomer at the Dordts Popgala and reached a wide audience with live performances at festivals such as StadsOase, Brandt Parkies and Wantijpop, as well as in venues such as Gebouw-T, AFAS Live and Bibelot. Through their energetic live shows and clear mutual connection on stage they manage to appeal to listeners who like accessible, contemporary indie.
