Marathon's story begins like a boy's book. From Noorderslag to Best Kept Secret via an extensive underground cellar tour through the Netherlands; it turned out to be just a prelude to the definitive breakthrough year of the Amsterdam post-punk formation. This spring there are sold-out headline shows in Amsterdam and Rotterdam that belong to the release of the debut album 'Fading Image'. In addition, the young quintet is bringing their explosive live reputation across national borders to Germany, Belgium, and France, and Lowlands is on the calendar at the end of the summer.
