Matteo Mancuso

The Italian Matteo Mancuso, born in 1996, is a guitar virtuoso who at a young age came into contact with music thanks to his father. He studied classical guitar and played in the trio 'SNIPS', with which he released, among other things, a famous version of 'The Chicken' by Jaco Pastorius. Since his breakthrough he collaborated with Yamaha's guitar department and built a YouTube fanbase of almost 300,000 subscribers. In addition, he gave masterclasses in cities such as Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Perm in Russia, thereby sharing his knowledge and technique internationally.

In 2020 he founded a new trio with Riccardo Oliva on bass and Gianluca Pellerito on drums, in which he also plays his own songs. His first solo album 'The Journey', released in 2023 and produced by his father, shows his versatile musical style and contains compositions that combine his classical guitar playing with jazz and rock. The album, recorded in Sicily, reflects Matteo’s personal and artistic journey as a guitarist and composer.
