MELT BANANA (Jap)

After their earlier performances in the 2010s in the old dB's we have been dangling for a new show by the Japanese Melt Banana for a few years. Why? Because Melt Banana is in a class of its own when it comes to noise, punk and experiment.
A short introduction:

Melt Banana is an experimental duo from Tokyo, known for their intense and lightning-fast sound full of complex rhythms and unexpected twists. What started as a four-piece band in the 1990s is now a duo: singer Yasuko Onuki (Yako) and guitarist Ichiro Agata (Agata). Live they work with PC and samples, without losing strength.

Over the years the band released countless albums and played worldwide at festivals and club stages, side by side with bands such as The Melvins, Napalm Death, Igorr and in the distant past even Tool. In 2024 the latest album 3+5 appeared and after regular tours through the UK and the US the European mainland is finally up again in 2026 — and dB's too!.

Expect an overwhelming show that seamlessly mixes punk, hardcore, techno, noise and electronics. Go see it! It will be very loud!!
