Psychedelic rock, Pop

MEMORIALS is coming to Rotown! On Sunday, June 7th, the duo will bring their eclectic psychedelic rock and pop to our stage. The band's songwriting is clearly inspired by the '60s, but can just as easily transform into a free-spirited sound where jazz, krautrock, and garage rock converge into cosmic crescendos. The duo consists of Verity Susman and Matthew Simms, the latter of whom you might know as the guitarist for the legendary WIRE. MEMORIALS is a must-see for fans of La Femme, CAN, Stereolab, and lovers of experimental psychedelic sounds in general.
