The American rock band Mondo Drag leans heavily on psychedelic rock from the sixties and seventies, but in its twenty years of existence has also added krautrock and early heavy metal to its sound. On their most recent (fourth) album, Through The Hourglass (2023), the band—as the title suggests—strikes a somewhat more reflective tone regarding the passage of time, resulting in Pink Floyd-esque, beautifully sprawled songs. Joining them as a special guest is the American band Early Moods, best described as Soundgarden-meets-seventies-metal!
